I can’t change the feed link on this page, but if I could, I’d point it to my Feedburner hook-up. But now you know and if you’d be a doll and use that instead? Thanks!

Tyme relates to us her geek girl woes and how being the one in the relationship who wants to get their geek on, or just have time for themselves, goes both ways.

Boyfriend: It should be assumed I was going to hang out with the guys…
Tyme: Oh sorry, you should have assumed I wasn’t going to sit at home pining over you. I’ll call you though…

Awesome. This is part of why I don’t mind being single. I don’t have enough hours in the day to do everything I want to do as it is.

You know, I’d probably laugh a little louder watching Fear of Girls if Doug-Doug didn’t remind me somewhat of a younger version of myself. Still, I think he should go for it! Hit 8th level tonight, Doug-Doug! Aw yeah.

You didn’t hear it from me, but…

I got memetagged, and while normally I ignore these things (I know, no fun), this time I’ll do it.

Four Jobs I’ve Had:

  1. Art Camp teacher/counselor
  2. Web Administrator (which is different than a Webmaster because the last two they had were bad luck. Don’t ask)
  3. Computer lab staffer
  4. Italian restaurant phone-answerer

Four Movies I Can Watch Over and Over:

  1. Serenity
  2. But I’m a Cheerleader
  3. The Goonies
  4. The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension

  3. San Francisco, CA
  4. Woodridge, IL

  4. Mythbusters

Four Places I’ve Been on Vacation:

  1. Toronto
  2. Germany (exchange program for a month, but I only attended five class sessions, so hey)
  3. New York (wasn’t relaxing, though)
  4. San Francisco (before I moved there)

Four of My Favorite Dishes:

  1. panang curry tofu
  2. cheese pizza
  3. the Fakin’ Jamaican sandwich available from the Whole Foods deli in Chicago on the corner of North and Sheffield
  4. matsaman curry tofu (sorry, I love the curries)

Four Websites I Visit Daily:

  1. flickr
  2. Technorati
  3. Something Positive
  4. The Devil’s Panties

Four Places I Would Rather Be Right Now:

  1. Chicago (but maybe in a couple months, when it’s warmer)
  2. Here, but with less worries
  3. Back in college for a second degree, without having to deal with the finances
  4. While we’re reaching: a psychic training program without all the trappings of a cult

Four bloggers who I’m tagging as “it”:

  1. The roommate
  2. The previous roommate
  3. The even more previous roommate who usually hates memes
  4. The other Aquarius

Sorry, I hate the ritual of passing memes along, they should be opt-in.

Audition is a Korean game currently in beta, where you dance. And outfit your dancer. And I don’t know what else, and I don’t care.

It owes a lot more to Space Channel 5 and Bust-A-Groove than it does to DDR, but this new Korean game is a BLAST.[...]

There are various gameplay modes, including “Choreography,” which resembles a Jackson 5 performance, and even an Item Mall, where you can use the credits you’ve earned to purchase new clothes, dance moves, and even songs!

George is/was keeping track of the online versions of the news items he’s been writing for Contra Costa Times over on his del.icio.us stack. Rock on with the new job, George!

So there’s this anecdote I have where I’m on this date with this guy and we’re back at his place and he’s looking at me and says, “Why do I have ‘Brand New Lover’ running through my head?” and I say “I don’t know, but whenever I hear ‘You Spin Me Round’ on the radio in the morning on the way to work, it means that I’m going to have a good day,” and I nearly miss the boat except I get the subtext like three minutes later instead of two days later as I used to be wont to do. And once I told this story and said something about Pete Burns spinning in his grave, but the person I was telling it to told me that Pete’s still alive and well, so I can’t even tell that right. But now he’s alive and well and on Celebrity Big Brother. Damn, Brits get the better television. Oy.

Tripod sing a song of love and priorities. It’s probably happened before, and fortunately not a situation I’ve put myself in.

Trying to start a meme on Flickr. Stick it out, folks. Cecily inspired it and she compels you to do so as well! (Okay, she started it. I came up with the tag though. Do I get credit for marketing? ;) )

This week has officially been Flickr Infatuation Week.
